substance abuse recovery for adults
Are you feeling disconnected?
has life become unmanageable?
do relationships feel forced & empty?
Sound familiar?
I see you.
Maybe you’re struggling in your relationships, or perhaps your job or career could be in jeopardy. You may be struggling to complete your day-to-day activities or simply barely functioning at all. Perhaps you’re feeling guilty.
Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:
● Struggling to stay focused and productive at work
● Struggling to maintain relationships
● Struggling to take care of yourself
addiction therapy can help.
It may feel impossible now, but you can be free. You can reengage with life. You can maintain sobriety (whatever that looks like to you). And I can help you get there.
Addiction therapy helps you do three things:
● Reengage with life including work, family, friends, and all the activities you used to love to do
● Work through the trauma that is most likely underlying your addiction
● Learn the tools you need to cope with cravings and urges so you can be free from your addiction.
I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to addiction therapy comes from a place of hope and healing : you are not your addiction and you can learn how to manage it,
I’m here to help with:
+relationships
+ Grief & loss
+ Self-esteem
+ Identity
+ Trauma recovery
+ anxiety
+ depression
+ substance abuse

-
We’ll talk about your addiction, how it has impacted your life, and how you can begin to rebuild. If necessary, we will explore the trauma that is most likely behind your addiction and help you work through that. I’ll help you to identify some coping skills to help with cravings. I will also encourage you to seek social support such as AA/NA, SMART Recovery, or Recovery Dharma.
-
While I can’t offer any guarantees, I can tell you that most clients respond well to my approach and can find some relief. I encourage my clients to offer feedback on any techniques we try, so if something doesn’t work for you, please let me know so we can find something that does work for you.

The first step is to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. That will give us a few minutes to chat and see if we’d be a good fit. I’ll ask about your previous therapy experience and explain my approach to therapy and give you an opportunity to ask questions. If we decide to work together, we’ll schedule a session.
