I can help you get there.

We discuss your symptoms and then help you identify some ways to cope with them. I’ll ask you to be curious about what is happening in your body and to just notice it, which can help you to recognize when you’ve been triggered. EMDR sessions would involve us identifying some negative beliefs you hold about yourself and identifying memories associated with those negative beliefs. Then I’ll assist you in reprocessing those memories using bilateral stimulation. Bilateral stimulation engages both hemispheres of the brain using eye movements, tapping, or sounds to reprocess traumatic memories.

That is based on your individual needs. If either of us feel that you’ve made significant progress towards your goals, then we can discuss termination. Termination means you’ve graduated from therapy!

The first step is to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. That will give us a few minutes to chat and see if we’d be a good fit. I’ll ask about your previous therapy experience and explain my approach to therapy and give you an opportunity to ask questions. If we decide to work together, we’ll schedule a session.
